From repurposing cast-off articles into beautiful pieces of art to feeding the souls of those who encounter her works, “rejuvenation” is both material and experiential for mosaic artist Sherri Kruger-Kukowski.
Experience "Repurpose, Preserve, Rejuvenate" at the Warroad RiverPlace art gallery from January 10 to March 8, 2025. It is free to visit Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM.

Artist Reception & Gallery Open House with Sherri Kruger-Kukowski
Everyone is welcome to a gallery open house and artist reception for Warroad RiverPlace’s first solo exhibition, “Repurpose, Preserve, Rejuvenate,” by mosaic artist Sherri Kruger-Kukowski of Badger, Minn.
Visitors are invited to browse the artwork, meet the artist, and socialize over light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments.
This event is free and open to the public.
Macalester College African Music Ensemble
For the past six years, master drummer, composer, and internationally-recognized enthnomusicologist Sowah Mensah has partnered with the Warroad Elementary Music Department to bring African music and culture alive in the classroom. On Saturday, January 18, Sowah and his 30-piece African Music Ensemble from Macalester College in St. Paul will lift up their voices and perform with a variety of African instruments including xylophones, marimbas, flutes, horns, and an assortment of drums and gourds.
This event is free and open to the public.
Shoreline Artist Meetup with Folk School Warroad

Wool Felted Penguin with Folk School Warroad
Come learn how to make small, wool felted creatures by crafting this cute penguin. This adorable penguin could be an addition to your decorations or a present topper! The materials will all be provided and you will understand how to make more sweet little figures.

A 50s Christmas with Let's Dance Studio

Join Let’s Dance Studio for a delightful tale where music from the 50s and Santa getting lost in the Swiss Alps meet. Preschool to Level 4 dancers, along with parents and guests, will take you back to the time when things were “swell,” rock ‘n’ roll was king, and sock hops were the ultimate hangouts.

Warroad Schools Christmas Choir Concerts

Come learn how to make homemade stovetop potpourri in a jar! These can be made ahead of time, and put on the stovetop to make your home smell like the holidays. Each person will go home with two finished jars, so you can choose to keep one and give one to a loved one for a simple yet beautiful homemade gift.
